Blood Tests & Phlebotomy Service | Killarney Medical Centre

We offer a private phlebotomy service at the practice, with appointments available Monday to Friday. Blood tests linked to the HSE Chronic Disease Management Programme are also available at no charge.

GMS patients are welcome to use our private service. If you would prefer a free option, we can provide a request form and contact details so you can arrange your blood test directly with University Hospital Kerry.

We can also carry out blood tests requested by a Consultant. Please let us know at the time of booking and bring your Consultant’s phlebotomy request form with you on the day.

Please note that all blood tests must be requested by one of our GPs or a Consultant before an appointment can be made.

How to Book

Appointments can be booked easily through the Pippo app or by calling the practice.

Your Results

Samples are sent to University Hospital Kerry for analysis. Once a doctor has reviewed your results, a member of our team will be in touch to let you know. It takes a minimum of two working weeks for results to be processed.
